GR-HEV concept car is a double-cab pickup truck that have futuristic and sporty exterior design, that have concept of sport utility truck (SUT) and come with hybrid engine of diesel engine paired with electric motors. No detail about the powertrain of this pickup, but Mitsubishi claimed that GR-HEV with the hybrid engine will produce CO2 emissions under 149 g/km. GR-HEV will come with new generation of 4WD with AWD Super Selec that also has been installed on Mitsubishi Pajero, and Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) integrated vehicle dynamics control system driveline.

Second concept car from Mitsubishi is CA-MiEV, is the new version of i-MiEV, the electric car that has been mass-produced. CA-MiEV is electric concept car with next-gen technologies, called high-density batteries and highly efficient electric motors (motors, inverters, regenerative braking and a wireless charging system). Come with lightweight body and aerodynamic design, this electric car can travel up to 300 km (186 miles) on single battery charge.
